Your wheat field studies are wonderful, Dan. So much is riding on weather for dryland farmers on the Palouse. This lush crop can be wrecked in mere minutes if there are high winds, too much rain near harvest time, fire, or infestations of bugs. Farmers are risk takers and the salt of the Earth. This is beautiful and meshes so well with your other panoramic views of the land. V/F

Dan, those clouds have so much persona and emotion. Fascinating with all the ripples in them. That intense/strange hue of light before a storm ... you have captured that so well in this image. Fav/Vote
