While I like this image, I remember the tower and lantern room being exactly opposite of where it is in your photo...is it possible you have flipped this image? I have painted this lighthouse many times.

Thanks Anne! That is true. I couldn’t let reality get in the way of a good image in this case. I prefer the flow of the composition from the lighthouse to the setting sun in this flipped image.
